Meeting the Kage (Private)

Here he was, Kumagawa sighed. He was being carried in a large human shaped box through the village. The holder was a shinobi of the village and Kumagawa knew exactly where he was going. It wasn't just anywhere of course, It was the kage's office. After months of stealing her wine one of her fanboys caught him with it, or thats what he thought. They called a ninja and in moments Kumagawa was in a uncomfortable coffin and was being shipped to the mansion. Kumagawa sighed as he began to imagine how his day turned out like that.

Well he woke up, in his underpants which wasn't unusual and got up to get a glass of water. His roommate was doing the usual breakfast cooking, after losing the coin toss they had the day before it was up to Sun Wong to cook the breakfast for the next few weeks. good thing the monkey could actually cook better than most humans, he made eggs and sausage with buttered toast on the side with fresh squeezed orange juice.

After eating or better said engulfing the meal infront of him he got himself dressed and grabbed the Kage's wine and began to head out the door. He was ambushed by a few of the hunter shinobi of the village and was told he was going to be taken to the Kage's mansion. Which of course made Kumagawa curse. He had a history with the current advisor to the new kage so he really wanted to avoid having to meet that person but such a thing is unavoidable. As he continued to sit in his encasement he was brought to the kage's mansion and he awaited his presence being revealed to the kage, for stealing the wine.

Hearing the moaning from inside of his giant coffin Kumagawa scratched his chin. Well it seemed that the kage was ... very promiscuous. So much so that she was getting a little special treatment from someone. Kumagawa just prayed that he wouldn't be pulled out and have to see the kage doing something like that. Mostly because he had somewhat of a respect for the position itself but he knew that every once in awhile there was a need that needed to be fed.

The man who was holding him shifted over to his other foot before pulling Kumagawa off his back. Using his hands he undid the seal on the coffin and Kumagawa came out with a puff of smoke.It took a few minutes but the smoke cleared to show Kumagawa's headband at first then it showed his jacket finally his face was visible. Smiling and trying to make a cool enterance he had a cigarette in his mouth and laid lazily on the ground. Seeing the scene before him he pointed at Rita and his eyes widened. "WAIT? YOUR THE KIRIKAGE?!?"

Kumagawa for once had something on his face other than a smile. The look of surprise. The girl that he met at the bar a week ago and had given him a itch.. Was the Kirigakage. What were the odds of that.

Kumagawa moved up back till he was sitting upright with his legs cross. And frowned. "Yeah and after I slept with you I did catch something.. just got rid of it actually.." Kumagawa said through puffing on his cigarette.

"So yeah, am I interrupting something, you look abit busy at the moment... I can comeback later." Kumagawa said stretching slightly, One of the shinobi that brought him in aparently didn't like his response to the kage and said to him. "Show the Kage some respect!" Kumagawa just shrugged and continued to smoke. He was slightly annoyed that he gotten picked up by a few jounin who skill were under him quite abit and the fact that he was watching the kage having some fun-time for herself. It was so weird.

Kumagawa shrugged. "That was you who drank it, not me." Kumagawa stated as he began to wonder how many shinobi were exactly in the building. Using his sensory skills he was able to see two or three shinobi that were around his level which would make escape very difficult if not impossible. Sighing he decided to save it for abit more of a unfavorable condition.

"Me, owing you money? After our last encounter it should be me charging you, Besides you should know that I don't have that kind of money, I haven't taken a mission in a year or two and have very little money in the bank so I pretty much live off of whatever I can get my hands on."

Kumagawa said nonchalantly, the jounin looked up at the kage to see her reaction. Looking at him he didn't look like he had a bunch of money, not enough to just throw willy nilly, but he did steal from the Kage's alcohol cabinet so he had to pay something as a consequence. Maybe he could do some work around the mansion or something similar. Kumagawa just kept puffing on his cigarette waiting for it to go out.

"But really, can we deal with this another time? I kind of don't want to see this." Kumagawa pointed at Rita and the blond behind her. "In the morning..."

Kumagawa laughed, "Me jealous? Of what? I've already been in that position before but it wasn't at 11 in the morning." Kumagawa said as he threw his cigarette in what ever could be considered a trashcan since the kage didn't have an ash tray. Looking back he noticed that some of the shinobi behind him were abit uncomfortable thinking back he did realize that his entire conversation with Rita was abit... unusual.

Sighing at Rita's comment about him showing up again the next morning he almost reached out to ask whether or not the next meeting will be as.... Graphic as it was now for lack of better word, but Rita's threat stopped him cold. While he didn't pay for the house himself, he had lived in it for his entire life. He had inherited it from his late parents. He had grown attached to the place it being the last remnants of his parents existence. Kumagawa had no intentions of losing that place over a bottle of expensive wine. Getting up from where he was sitting he opened the door. "Alright... I'll be here tommorow morning." And for once Kumagawa didn't make a snappy comeback, or a joke and for once his tone was serious unlike before which was more light hearted. Seemed Rita had hit a nerve with her threat.

KUmagawa said nothing for the rest of the day. He decided to go about finishing up whatever buisness he had originally planned for the day and went home to sleep. He slept for a few hours before waking up in a cold sweat. The naked brunette and blond in his bed asked him what was wrong but he just remained silent dismissing both of the girls' concern before going out to the balcony. Taking a cigarette in his mouth and looking out at the village at night he wondered what exactly was he going to do for the mission, he had been so worked up by the threat he had forgotten to get the info for the mission. It didn't matter he would get it tomorrow.


The next morning Kumagawa was already awake and was eating breakfast with his roommate Sun WuKong. Sun was drinking tea and Kumagawa was eating a pancake. "So... Your going on a mission today?" Kumagawa looked up, "How could you tell?" Sun took another sip of his tea, " Well you usually only sleep with multiple women in one night when your bothered, and your only bothered when your going on a mission." Kumagawa just quickly finished up his pancake before getting up from the table, "Yeah, yeah, yeah we both know that's bullshit... but I'll be back later don't wait up." Sun Wukong just took another drink from his cup of tea, "Whatever just you know who to summon if you need help."

Hours later Kumagawa would find himself in the window of the Kage's room. First he had gone to the office but apparently she still hadn't gotten up for work, now it was 4 in the afternoon and she hadn't gotten up. By the time she noticed the light he could have stolen the remainer of the wine in her cabinet and sold all of it to pay her back but unfortunately that would be dumb since he would be the first one to be searched. Once she responded to his presence he sighed and responed, "As entertaining as it is to look at while you're sleeping, unfortunately we have some buisness to attend to."
